london thames
On 13-15 March 2013 Centalex Events is organizing a seminar on litigation and arbitration in London for CIS practitioners and in-house counsel.

The seminar  will be delivered by barristers from One Essex Court and lawyers from White&Case.  CIS Arbitration Form is an information sponsor of the event.

The seminar’s program covers some of the most pressing and current issues facing Russian and CIS practitioners dealing with litigation outside of their home jurisdiction.

They include tests used to establish jurisdiction of English courts, evidence of foreign law (such as Russian law) before English courts as well as obtaining ancilliary measures in Cyprus in support of proceedings in England and other jurisdictions.

The arbitration part of the seminar’s program covers a broad range of current topics ranging from comparison of arbitration rules and drafting of arbitration clauses to enforcement of arbitral awards and discussion of a recent arbitration involving a CIS party.

In addition to the seminars the program includes a visit to the London Court of International Arbitration and the Royal Courts of Justice as well as informal events.

More detailed information about the seminar and contact details of the organizers can be found in the program available in English and Russian.
